Sales - Account ManagerReports to Vice President. Sells company, products and services to new and established customers. Maintains customer relations and assesses customer satisfaction. Strives to achieve personal goals for sales, prospecting and account retention. Actively participates in weekly sales meeting. Keeps current on new technology and industry changes. Maintains call records and customer information through the use of company Database and maintains up-to-date expense account records. Obtains customer job specifications in complete detail. Attends press checks when necessary. Performs other duties as requested. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Sells company, products and services to new and established customers. Continually prospects for new customers, opportunities and business. Establishes new accounts and determines potential volume of each prospect. Schedules appointments, makes sales presentations; conveys services and benefits. Maintains monthly lists of prospects and pending orders. Develops sales strategies to capture new accounts. Attends trade shows, industry functions and networking opportunities. Job Requirements: Ability to identify and meet customers’ needs and requirements. Sales aptitude. Knowledge of printing processes and capabilities. Good sense of design and color. Keeps current on new technology by attending classes, reading and analyzing handout materials and trade literature. Must be a self-starter and problem solver.
